The Ballad of Don (Key) Brash

I don’t know my own housing policies
I don’t know if I’ll save or chop down our trees
But I know I’m always polite to ladies
And, ehhhr, all other females.

Come to think of it, I’m not so sure
if I knew about the said Brochure
or all that other horse manure
cncerning those leaked emails.

You journos - you’re all union hacks
and Labour supporters. Your coverage smacks
of bias. Come now, Tax
is the real issue here, not these attacks
on National, Don Brash and all.
We’ll give you back your cash and all,
But take away your hospital.

I have a vision for this place:
New Zealand built on need, not race;
where Whiteys and Brownlees do embrace.

My manners are Victorian,
My wife is Singaporean.
I like corned beef sandwiches and tea
Sorry for the adultery
(and all those nuclear ships at sea).
